The Jesse Engelbrecht Squash Academy is designed to be one of the elite training centres in the UK for squash professionals. The goal and aim for the academy is to manage and train players to the highest quality standard. The idea is for Jesse to take away the distractions of normal day to day life and for the students being managed and coached to solely focus on their squash. The Academy was set up for young South African squash players wishing to come to the UK to get the experience of training and playing here with some of the best players and facilities in the world at their disposal. Jesse organises everything for the academy students from accommodation, to car usage, to league teams, to finances, to training programmes, to personal training in gyms and tournament selection. He offers a full management package to his students. All these distractions are taken care of so the students have a clear focus to train and play and improve rapidly. Jesse's years of experience of being a professional player gives him many tools to pass onto his students in the academy. The mistakes that Jesse made in his professional career can now be ironed out with his students. Jesse states, "If I could have focused and trained without any distractions in my life when I was a young professional I believe that I would have been able to reach more of the goals that I set." 

The Academy is based at The Beechdown Club and Spa in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Beechdown Club has fantastic facilities to offer for the development of players and Jesse has many other contacts locally that the students will find very useful in the development of their career. The professionals are warmly welcomed by the club players and manager alike.

The Academy is open to both students who want to be here long-term and have training and coaching everyday by Jesse or to students who want to see Jesse once a week to work on specific things in their games.
